We’re on a mission to change how drivers/deliverers work by putting them back in the driver’s seat.
A long, long time ago (early 2010’s), new rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft began to appear. They were swiftly followed by food delivery services like DoorDash, Postmates, UberEats, and Grubhub. Veterans look back fondly on the high earnings & the incentives offered in those days, and each app followed a similar trend: big incentives in the early days followed by gradual pay squeezes as the years dragged on.
But the story didn’t stop there. Then came InstaCart, changing how people shopped for groceries. Now, Shipt, Roadie, and DoorDash are trying to change how we shop for anything, period. And the list of apps past and present goes on: GoPuff, Drizzly, Caviar, Peach, Via, Bite Squad, Waitr, Trip Advisor, Citizen Shopper, and on and on and on. If you include gig apps like Field Agent and Observa that require a car and a smart phone but don’t revolve around delivering things, your mind starts to unravel.
But in this brave new world one thing remained the same: each major app operated under a winner take all mentality when it came to recruiting their independent contractors. And we see this reflected in the apps ALL.THE.TIME. Uber wants you on their app till the day you die, preferably not looking at your Lyft pings or (gasp!) a DoorDash order while you drive. Same with the delivery apps. We all know that UberEats is a jealous app, and with DoorDash heaven forbid you multi-app and decide that the wonderful $4 McDonald’s delivery across town, that “opportunity”, should go to “the next available dasher”.
We mean no disrespect, but single-appers need not apply for this position. We're looking for the best professional gig drivers to be Para Partners, who are loyal first and foremost to their own brand rather than any single gig platform. Like us, you already know instinctively that multi-apping is the way of the future, a way to reduce fears about deactivation, reduce idle time, keep work more flexible and income more steady, and to earn more per hour. Don't be beholden to a single app!
Think you have what it takes to join the cause, and make a little money while you’re at it?
